Young Project Worker<\/span><\/p>

Salary:<\/span> Competitive<\/p>

Hours:<\/span> up to 37 hours per week (including frequent evenings and weekends)<\/p>

Contract:<\/span> Fixed until December 2027, with possibility of a 6 month extension<\/p>

Location:<\/span> Based at The Venture, Wrexham, with travel across North Wales<\/p>

About the project<\/span><\/p>

The National Lottery-funded Meddwl Ymlaen \u2013 Mind Our Future<\/em> project is delivered by The Venture on behalf of the North East Wales Partnership. The project empowers young people aged 11 to 24 to influence how mental health services are shaped across Wrexham and Flintshire.<\/p>

About the role<\/span><\/p>

The Mind Our Future Project is looking to recruit\u00a0<\/span>an<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Project Youth Worker<\/span>\u00a0that will<\/span>\u00a0support young people across Wrexham and Flintshire to actively participate in the Mind Our Future project<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>hrough impactful student council meetings, collaboration with external youth groups, and working alongside our current Young Leaders Advisory Board. Ideal for individuals passionate about youth empowerment, studying youth work, childcare, education, or related fields, this role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while positively impacting young people’s well-being and leadership skills.<\/span>\u00a0We strongly encourage candidates 18 to 25 to apply for this role<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
